Heavy lift vessel “Svanen” is used for the installation of foundations of windmills. PEAK marine has managed the engineering project for extensive modifications to the installation equipment to improve workability, safety and capacity.
New build Monopile Gripper Frame
For one of the leading EPC contractors in the off-shore wind construction, Bart is as project manager the spider in the web during the design and production of a new monopile gripper frame. This gripper is a tool that is being used by the installation of monopiles at sea.
Jumbo Booster
A dredging project in the dessert of Kuwait required a 5MW jumbo booster pump station to work in line with clients jumbo cutter dredgers. From engineering to commissioning this project was managed by Bart Zoontjens.
Rowan Gorilla VI
One of the largest drilling rigs in the world came to the repair yard Keppel Verolme for replacement of most drilling equipment and a 5year survey. Bart was part of the project team and responsible for the special survey and all dock related repairs.
Prime Exerter
The drilling rig Prime Exerter is separated into transportable pieces for transport to the Caspian sea. This project involved many havy hoist operations and a system that would guide another yard to reassemble the rig again.
New build Fast launch crafts
From 2008 the Dutch Pilots Organisation had started a new build programme including 8 launch crafts. Bart was project manager for the design and follow up of these launch crafts.
Commissioning 80 meters luxury motor yacht
During the final stage of completion of the motor yacht ‘Tueq’ Bart worked as the commissioning engineer for the yard.
